ABOUT

What does organic mean?

The term “organic” refers to the way agricultural products are grown and processed. In the U.S., organic crops must be grown without the use of synthetic pesticides, bioengineered genes (GMOs), petroleum-based fertilizers, and sewage sludge-based fertilizers.

Why does organic matter?

Pesticides are poisons and, unfortunately, they can harm more than just the “pests” at which they are targeted. They are toxic, and exposure to pesticides can cause a number of health effects. They are linked to a range of serious illnesses and diseases from respiratory problems to cancer.

Why choose organic body products?

When you put something on your skin, up to 60% of the synthetic chemicals may enter the bloodstream and build up in your body. Using organic products is good for your skincare routine and protects you from the harmful effects of synthetic chemicals. The average person uses 9 personal care products daily, exposing themselves to about 126 different chemical ingredients, according to the Environmental Working Group (EWG).
